In our continuing efforts to help voters cast an informed ballot, Citizens' Resource, in conjunction with the City of Orem and Utah Valley State College, is pleased to present short, online video presentations by nearly every candidate that will appear on the Utah County 2006 General Election ballot. All candidates in contested races were invited to participate. Those candidates that did participate did so with little advanced notice and time to prepare. We appreciate their great willingness. Also includes brief statements by candidates from other parties who will face the winner of the primary. |

Citizens' Resource sponsored debate held at Utah Valley State College on June 10th between candidates for County Clerk/Audirot, Cary McConnell and Bryan Thompson in preparation for the Primary Elections to be held on June 27th, 2006.
Also contains statements from candidates for County Commissioner Seat A, Jerry Grover and Gary Anderson.
Since there are no candidates from other parties for either of these positions, the winners of these two races in this primary will become the next clerk/auditor for Utah County and County Commissioner Seat A. |

Video coverage of a Citizens' Resource-sponsored debate held at Utah Valley State College on June 10, 2006, between Incumbent Utah State Legislator Jim Ferrin and Republican Challenger Orem City Councilman Stephen Sandstrom in preparation for the Primary Elections (to be held on June 27th) that determine the GOP candidate for the Utah State House District 58. This debate moderated by prominent attorney Mark Robinson. Also included are brief statements by candidates from other parties who will face the winner of this primary.
For Utah State House District 61, video footage of speeches by Republican Candidates Garr Judd and Keith Grover who are vying for an open seat. Also included are brief statements made by candidates from other parties who will face the winner of the primary Residents of Northeast Orem, Lindon and some of Pleasant Grove vote in House District 58, while residents of Southwest Orem, Vineyard and much of Provo vote in House District 61. |
